CENTRAL ROMANA MEDICAL CENTER STRENGTHENS MEDICAL LEADERSHIP WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF DR. WALTER STROFER AS ASSISTANT MEDICAL DIRECTOR
La Romana, Dominican Republic. – Central Romana Medical Center has appointed Dr. Walter Strofer as Assistant Medical Director, as part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its medical leadership and further enhance the quality of care provided to its patients.
In his new role, Dr. Strofer will report directly to Dr. José F. López Larache, Medical Director and Vice President of Health at Central Romana.
Dr. Strofer is a surgeon with subspecialty training in trauma surgery, emergency medicine, and critical care. He joins the Medical Directorate to support the coordination of clinical operations, strengthen institutional processes, and contribute to initiatives aimed at continuously improving patient care.
As Assistant Medical Director, he will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to oversee medical services, monitor quality standards, and ensure adherence to institutional protocols, while promoting operational efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the institution.
