Proterra renews quality certification for Central Romana sugar mill

The PROTERRA Foundation certified for a fourth consecutive year the the agricultural processes of the Central Romana sugar mill in terms of social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

The approval was ratified after an exhaustive on-site audit during five days, in which the technicians toured the facilities of the mill in the industrial zone, the sugarcane fields, the batey communities and the sugarcane outgrowers, as highlighted by Central Romana in a press release.

“Once again our agricultural and production processes have the quality seal established by international standards, demonstrating the commitment of responsibility that our company has with its workers and consumers of the sugar we produce” emphasized the Administration of Central Romana in its communication to the media.
