La Romana. –<\/em> Central Romana benefited 16 workers by granting them with homes in the neighborhood of Quisqueya in La Romana, part of a housing program the company has implemented for decades pursuing the the well-being of its employees and their families.<\/p>\n

During the assignment ceremony, Eduardo Mart\u00ednez-Lima Gonzalvo on behalf of the administration of Central Romana also announced a special loan of RD$300,000.00 pesos for each worker to complete the finishing details on the houses.<\/p>\n

This credit guarantees unique and favorable conditions without interests that only the company can offer its employees.<\/p>\n

“It is with great pride and satisfaction that Central Romana can deliver to you and your families a roof over your heads that provides comfort and stability” said Martinez-Lima Gonzalvo during the presentation.<\/p>\n

The houses have a distribution of three bedrooms, bathroom, living room area, kitchen and front porch.<\/p>\n

“With this gesture, our company recognizes your effort, capabilities and years of devoted hard work with Central Romana” expressed Mart\u00ednez-Lima Gonzalvo.<\/p>\n

Each family signed and received a contract agreement of the house they were benefited with.<\/p>\n

Withing its housing programs, Central Romana has facilitated more than 5,000 homes to workers and employees of the urban and agricultural area of the company, confirming its compliance with the principles of human rights established by the United Nations Global Compact.<\/p>\n
