Campos, carried out a two-day institutional visit to the sugar operations of Central Romana Corporation, after her recent statements made during the luncheon address at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR), where she announced that this would be her first official visit to a private company in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Campos was accompanied by a delegation of representatives from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Central Romana is a key player in that relationship, and seeing firsthand its operations and social impact reinforces the importance of working together as strategic partners for the economic development of both countries,\u201d emphasized Ambassador Leah F.
