MODERN POLICE STATION INAUGURATED ON LAND DONATED BY CENTRAL ROMANA IN EL SEIBO
El Seibo. – At Central Romana we recently celebrated the inauguration of a new police station in El Seibo, built on a 3,000 m² lot donated by our company, which will facilitate the mission of protecting and serving public safety in this community.
This structure, constructed under the mandate of the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development, includes adequate spaces for public service and reception of complaints, meeting rooms for operational coordination, as well as separate dormitories for male and female police officers, restrooms and showers, a kitchen, and administrative areas.
The ceremony was led by Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, General Director of the National Police; Ángel de la Cruz, President of the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development; and Leo Matos, Executive Vice President of Central Romana.
Also in attendance were Municipal Mayor Leo Francis Zorrilla, Provincial Governor Magalis Tabar, and Senator Santiago José Zorrilla.
“We thank Central Romana Corporation for donating the land on which this important facility was built, providing a dignified space for high quality police work in El Seibo,” emphasized Major General Guzmán Peralta.
This initiative is part of the ongoing support that Central Romana has provided for decades to the development and well-being of the Eastern region of the country.
