Central Romana is granted new quality certification standard ISO:9001

La Romana. – Central Romana Corporation received a new quality certificate ISO 9001:2015 by the British firm Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, this time for its corporate division PROMACO, which develops and manufactures construction materials.

The certification issued by Lloyd’s Register under the ISO 9001:2015 standard covers the production and marketing of concrete, aggregates, concrete blocks, concrete paving, and coral stone products.

“Central Romana proudly places the seal of excellence in the quality of the products the company produces, for our both our certified refined sugar and now for construction materials that we manufacture in PROMACO” said the company in a press release.

The certification is valid for 3 years, until its renewal.

“For more than 40 years PROMACO has provided to professional civil engineering and the construction industry in general, both of the eastern region as the rest of the country, the most varied range of products in reinforced concrete and pre-fabricated beams built tough for any need” the compamy established in its communication.

PROMACO also builds the concrete ties that are installed on the railroad tracks of Central Romana, providing greater durability and less maintenance. With this action the company eliminated the use of wood, as part of the implementation of its vast program in corporate social responsibility and caring of the environment.
