En 2011 obtuvo la Certificación ISO-9001 en Control de Calidad en la fabricación de azúcar refina, de la Organización Internacional de Estandarización a través de la firma inglesa Lloyd’s, convirtiéndose en el primer ingenio de la República Dominicana en lograr este importante objetivo.In 2011, Central Romana obtained the ISO-9001 Quality Control Certification for producing refined sugar, granted by the International Standardization Organization through the British firm Lloyd’s, making it the first sugar mill in the Dominican Republic to achieve this important goal.43
