En marzo de 2004 fue sede del “Dominican Open” presentado por el Banco del Progreso y American Express, que por primera vez se celebró en la República Dominicana, organizado por el Tour de las Américas (TLA);(iii) El “Dye Fore Lakes” es una gran adición al “Dye Fore” original. Ahora se pueden jugar tres maneras de salidas diferentes con los nuevos nueve hoyos. El viento tiene un valor determinante en cómo jugar en el campo. Desde los planos hasta los elevados, los greens son todos diferentes; y,(iv) “The Links” es un desafiante campo tierra adentro, cuyas preciosas vistas semejan las de los campos escoceses. Este campo re-abrió en abril de 2012, luego de una profunda renovación.El hotel ofrece escuela de golf y es la sede de la Escuela de Golf Jim McLean, institución que ocupa la posición número uno en el mundo.Recognized on several occasions as the best Golf Resort in the World, Casa de Campo has three championship golf courses designed by Dye, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.The hotel offers 63 golf holes with the recent inauguration of “Dye Fore Lakes”, the last nine holes designed by Pete Dye:(i) “Teeth of the Dog”, with seven holes surrounding the Caribbean Sea and considered number 1 in the Caribbean by Golf Magazine, and amongst the top 50 out of 100 best golf courses in the world;(ii) “Dye Fore”, located 300 feet above Río Chavón, with 7 holes facing the cliffs, it is a masterpiece destined to rival the acclaimed “Teeth of the Dog”. In March of 2004 it was the headquarters for the “Dominican Open” presented by the Banco del Progreso and American Express, which was celebrated for the first time in the Dominican Republic, organized by the Tour de las Américas (TLA);(iii) “Dye Fore Lakes” is a great addition to the original “Dye Fore”. With the new nine holes one now has three different starting holes to begin play. Wind is a determining factor in how this golf course is played. All greens are different and include elevated and lower ones; and,(iv) “The Links” is a defying inland course, where the beautiful views remind us of Scottish golf courses. This golf course re-opened in April of 2012, following a profound renovation.The hotel has a golf school and is the headquarters for the Jim McLean Golf School, the number one institution of its kind in the world.130
